Love is close. Ms. Ying Pan from Gansu Pratt Technology Co., Ltd. learned of the emergency in Canada and immediately prepared 900 pairs of newly developed 3D printed medical goggles and shipped them to Canada.

On April 13, the Gansu Returned Overseas Chinese Federation, the Gansu Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, and the Federation of Overseas Chinese in Universities worked together to assist overseas Chinese and provide supplies. The "Care Package" equipped with medical masks flew over thousands of rivers and mountains, arriving in Toronto one after another.

The package carries infinite kindness from home

Travelling thousands of miles, the 3D printed medical goggles donated by Gansu Pratt Technology Co., Ltd. finally arrived in Toronto on May 4th.

On May 7th, there was heavy rain. The donation team went to the office of MP Bob Saroya and donated 100 pairs of goggles to Markham Stouffville Hospital. Bob couldn't help but admire that in this epidemic, the Chinese community took active actions and showed extraordinary support. It happened that MP Scot Davidson was also in Bob's office, helping to donate dozens of goggles to frontline staff in nursing homes.

On May 8th, the chill was pressing. Members of the donation team and provincial councillor Vincent Ke handed over 100 pairs of goggles to North York General Hospital. At 12 noon, Mr. Ke delivered 150 delicious hot meals to the hospital. Running back and forth, tirelessly. Members of the donation team couldn't help but join the food-carrying team.

Without stopping, the donation team went to the "Canada Bethune Medical Development Association" to donate 100 pairs of medical goggles to St. Michael’s Hospital in downtown Toronto.

On May 22, the weather was fine. The donation team delivered 100 pairs of goggles to Ace Acumen Academy. Dean Jun Wu said that Ace Acumen Academy has a nursing major and many graduates work in nursing homes. Not long ago, Ace Acumen Academy donated a batch of N95 and other medical masks to nursing homes. These goggles came just in time.

Donations don’t stop. Zhaoan Sui , Xiaoning Wang, Selina, Xiaochun Guo and other team members continued to contact Yikang Nursing Home, Global Dental Centre and other institutions to deliver supplies to frontline medical staff.

Please tell the community to come to the hospital if They feel sick. Don't be scared to come. The hospital has good protection."

Diana, the daughter of Tom who was a Gansu native, works in the intensive care unit of Mackenzie Health Hospital. In this epidemic, the first critically ill patient cured in the hospital was nursed by Diana. On April 22, Ms. Lin walked out of the intensive care unit.
